Climb poles, set poles and string wire, utilizes and operates equipment (e.g., aerial bucket trucks, and other construction equipment), materials, and manpower in a safe, efficient and effective manner

Perform work requiring rubber gloving 12.5 kv lines and below, and the use of live line tools in the construction and maintenance of distribution and transmission lines and equipment

Install, remove, transfer and maintain or repair cross arms, pins, insulators, guys, transformer and switch racks all other overhead pole and underground equipment using a variety of hand tools

Performs rough wiring, power distribution wiring, and wiring of electrical equipment, fixtures, installation and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems

Performs wiring of electrical equipment and fixtures, installation of conduit, and other electrical tasks

May operate a variety of electronic and other test equipment with a high degree of efficiency, as needed

Operates a variety of electronic and other test equipment with a high degree of efficiency

Install, remove, relocate, and maintain transmission and distribution, transformers, regulators, capacitors, arresters, cutouts, switches, ground rods, ground wires, insulators, conductors, line hardware and associated equipment

Install, remove, relocate and maintain all types of underground distribution system materials and equipment such as, but not limited to, transformers, conductors, cable, splices, terminals, stress cones, conduit, ducts and related hardware

Operate equipment such as aerial baskets, tensioners, digger derricks and trenchers
