IMPORTANT WARNING
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, your profile, resume, saved jobs, and application history will be permanently erased from our systems. You will not be able to recover this data.
Method 1: Delete via App or Website (Recommended)
You can easily delete your account yourself from within the Desh Videsh Naukri application or website portal:
- Log in to your account.
- Navigate to your Profile Settings or Account Settings.
- Scroll down to the bottom and locate the Delete Account option.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm and permanently delete your account.
Method 2: Email Deletion Request
If you cannot access your account, you can request data deletion by sending us an email. For security purposes, the request must be sent from the email address registered with your account.

Data Retention & Deletion Timeline
Upon receiving a valid deletion request (either via the app or email), we will initiate the deletion process within 7 business days.
What gets deleted: Your profile, uploaded resumes, personal identifiers, contact information, and job application history will be permanently wiped from our active databases.
Data retained for legal compliance: We may retain certain transaction records or logs for a limited period strictly as required by law (e.g., for fraud prevention, tax, or legal compliance). This retained data will be isolated and not used for any other purpose.
